Well after a couple of months the van is up and running very well.  It does a little over 32mpg and chugs along at 65mph with no problem.

Purchased in early December 2009 as a running van, but with several issues.

The 5 speed Transmission was very noisy so that was pulled by the second day, repaired and refitted by mid December 09.

The brakes while new and recently converted from an MG Midget, didn't work very well.

The pads and one wheel bearing had to be changed, and the rear brakes needed to be adjusted.

The floors, all three layers! had to be ripped out and replaced together with the rockers.  See the latest photos.

TWO YEARS ON ! I've put over 10,000 miles on the van an had to replace the radiator.  I will be replacing the front shocks and I might rebuild the alternator by the end of the year. 

All in all it has been very reliable, with no repair costs other than the radiator and what I plan to do.  Not bad for an ole lady.
