Austin Healey

1954 Austin Healey BN-1

Yes, on the odd occasion I even have to work on my own car, showing radiator removal and fitment of an electric fan. I purchased this car together with three parts cars in early 2002.  I put the car through a full frame off restoration, the frame spent several months on a rotisserie needing several major areas replacing.

The main modifications include a 5 speed Toyota transmission, high lift longer duration cam, larger SU carbs and flat top pistons taking the compression up to 10.3:1

Additional photos of my car can be seen on the Healey 100-4 page tab.

1967 Austin Healey BJ8

Later on in the same year the BJ8 came back with a transmission issue.  After a rebuild which involved replacing bearings and seals it was back on the road.

As can be seen all the parts painted prior to assembly, another happy customer.

1967 Austin Healey BJ8

This project included a refit of the interior, adding lots of heat insulation, and replacing the front splined hubs and bearings as well as fitting a stainless steel exhaust system.
