Triumph TR6

1972 Triumph TR6

This is a car brought to me in Sept 2010.  As you will see from the photos it was quite rough.  I repaired the floors, installed new rockers, battery box area, and several sections in the inner fenders.  As of October 2011 the car is fiallt finished, with the exception of the tail lights and bumpers on their way from the chrome shop.  The car has its original engine which had all the gaskets changed, not what I would call a rebuild,,,,just to keep the oil in !  It's had a complete mechanical restoration, brakes, suspension, transmission and o/d rebuild, diff rebuilt, steering and rear wheel bearings.  The dash was replaced together with the full interior and soft top.

Here are a few photos of the progress,

1973 Triumph TR6

This car was recently purchased by my customer but found to have several minor issues.  One being that most of the engine heat ended up with the driver !  After repairing the heater and replacing hoses the carpet was removed, the transmission cover was sealed and all the insulation replaced with a high quality foil backed product.  This car also had a front suspension rebuild - top and bottom A frame bushes, trunions and steering boots.

Carpets refitted, this time correctly.  I then made speaker panels and fitted the missing speakers.
